The importance of a device with high aerodynamic performance and flight stability
Although it has been experimented with many others, the conventional aerodynamic configuration – fuselage, wings and tail stabilizer assembly – has proven to be the best in aviation history for all applications. This configuration allows us the independent control of the aircraft in the 3 axes (pitch, roll and yaw), unlike the configurations in “flying wing”.
As a result, EXO C2-L has great stability against crosswind or turbulence that allows a level flight with respect to the ground, which results in obtaining flat images, not having to fly inclined to follow a straight path.
This design base of our products also allows us to give a better solution to the crosswind landings, since thanks to its control unit we can keep the wings level and therefore minimize the possibility of damage due to the initial impact of the “low wing . ”
A very light device for critical operations with high productivity, and respecting the regulations
The current air regulations require very contained weights to perform certain critical operations (on people, for example). Our EXO C2-L, with its 1.3 Kg MTOW (maximum take-off weight) adapts perfectly to these conditions, obtaining a great productivity / weight ratio thanks to its autonomy (over 80min), which is in the band highest of the current benchmarks in the fixed wing market, and unthinkable for a multicopter system.
Likewise, it meets the conditions imposed to carry out flights beyond the line of sight (BVLOS), which allow the full potential of the device to be explored to study large areas (over 200 Ha) or large infrastructure (over 60km). .
Another important derivative of its lightness and configuration is its ease of use. After a very simple assembly and assembly of the system in a matter of a few minutes, a practical manual launch, a perfectly planned operation and a technologically assisted automatic landing in a small space (5-10m), the operations team has never had so easy to perform the field work with a platform of these characteristics.
Invest in a single platform, work for very diverse clients
The modular system of payload by means of cartridge allows to integrate any sensor that by weight and volume fits into the cellar of the EXO C2-L. Usually in the sector, drones of these characteristics have a fixed socket or various specific models for a specific sensor, but they do not have our multipurpose capability that allows a large variety of sensors or other payload to be integrated so easily, on the same platform.
Thanks to this, an operator can be providing a variety of services, for example, inspection of roads or rail lines with an RGB sensor, a pipeline or a photovoltaic plant with a thermal camera, or agricultural or forestry operation with a multispectral sensor , using a single platform, which gives it a great breadth in its catalog of services and a quick return on the investment made.
